The acute labour and skills shortage is putting pressure on SMEs. This makes it all the more important to remain an attractive employer – both for existing staff and new talent. But how can SMEs respond quickly, pragmatically and cost-effectively? And what opportunities do experienced employees aged 50 and over offer?
Answers are provided by KMUconnect, the forum organised by focus50plus. Under the theme ‘The Power of the over-50s – indispensable for the future of SMEs’, the event will take place on Thursday 19 March 2026 at Tanzwerk101 in Zurich. Together with network partners from business, academia and politics, we will explore how SMEs can make targeted use of the potential of the over-50s generation.
The event is aimed at executives, HR professionals, trade associations, politicians and social partners.
